Yolanda R. Mendez

Yolanda R. Mendez, 84, a resident of Alamogordo passed away to be with angels on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was born on September 19, 1939, in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Yolanda was a member of the St. Jude Catholic Church.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Isidro O. Mendez; son, David S. Mendez; granddaughter, Lisa Marie Mendez.

Yolanda is survived by her son, Isidro R. Mendez and wife Monica; daughter, Patricia (Patsy) Vallejos; grandchildren, Lydia, Christopher, Mariah, Joshua, Gloria, Ernest, Amanda, Mike, Jeremy, Jacob, and Moses; as well as several great grandchildren.

Funeral Service and Interment will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, March 11, 2024, at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.

The Mendez family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the funeral services.
