Virginia (Gonzales) Chavarria

Virginia Chavarria, 80, passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at home surrounded by her family. She was born on June 14, 1940 in Tularosa, NM to the late Anastacio and Emma (Carrillo) Gonzales. She lived for her family and loved her children and grandchildren very much.

Survivors include her children, Theresa (Tim) Cole of Canandaigua, NY, Donna (Bob) Stivers of Waterloo, NY, Angela (James) Cadwallader of Mountain Park, NM, Daniel (Amy) Richards of Hampton, VA; sister, Clara Marrujo of Tularosa, NM; nine grandchildren, Joel (Amy) Lincoln, Julie (Jay) Didas, Jodi (Frank) Gleichauf, Krista (Chris) Gugliuzza, Kelly (Andrew) Zona, Megan (Dan) Stivers, Alyssa Stivers, Ezra Cadwallader, Daniel Cadwallader; 15 grandchildren one great-great grandchild.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Chavarria and seven siblings.

The Chavarria family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home.
