Verma Clark Obituary

Verma Jo Clark, 82, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 19, 2022. Verma was born on August 1, 1939 in Tyrone, New Mexico to Ausborne Hiles and Goldie Keeton-Hiles.

Verma was a mother to eight children, five girls and three boys. She became a Beautician graduate and enjoyed it for many years. For years after that, she worked alongside her husband, Steve, on a ranch life. She enjoyed providing hospitality to fellow ranchers and gained some of the best stories to tell from those years. Verma was always working in the garden with her two green thumbs! She treasured attending Sunday Worship and spending time with friends and family. Seeing her grandchildren and great grandchildren always made her day! Verma was a genuine, giving, and grateful soul and she will be dearly missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Survivors include her son, John T Nappier (Karen) of Mayhill; her daughters, Resa K Nappier of La Luz, Sunny Uhr (Eric) of Alamogordo, Cathy Solberg of Roswell, Kelly Robertson of La Luz; her son, Michael Jones of Roswell; brother, Don Hiles of Dog Canyon; sister, Barbara Morgan (Red) of Artesia.

Verma had countless nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren who she adored dearly. Her granddaughter, Stephanie Kelly of Alamogordo, devoted four wonderful years to being Verma's caregiver and they enjoyed their time together.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Clark; her half-brother, Ausborne Jr. G Hiles; her Marine son, Daniel K Jones; daughter, Nancy Bondurant; granddaughter, Jessie Hare; grandson, Michael JR Jones; great granddaughter, Sierra Harrison; nephew, Jerry D Hiles; son-in-law, Mike Robertson; sister-in-law, Ellen Hiles; and her parents, Ausborne and Goldie Hiles.

The family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home.

In memory of Verma, please see Psalm 23 as she will "DWELL IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD FOREVER".
