Valerie A Nejeres

Valerie A Nejeres, 56, loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2023, in Alamogordo, NM. Valerie was born on April 6, 1967, to Blas Nejeres and Margaret Sanchez in Tularosa, NM. 

Valerie was creative and loved home decorating. She loved the outdoors, especially by the creek, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She had an awesome personality, sensitive and yet she was always taking care of others and loved joking to make people laugh. Valerie liked bible studies and was a firm believer of God - Jesus Christ.  

Valerie was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Sanchez.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Monique Nejeres, Roxanne Nejeres, Estella Nejeres, Natalia Nejeres; sons: Adrian Nejeres, Frankie Nejeres, Gabriel Nejeres; and 15 grandchildren. She is also survived by her father, Blas Nejeres; sisters, Rebecca McKenzie, Suzanne Mares, Diane Chavez, Annie Chavez, and Andrea Nejeres; and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 am to 10:30 am with Rosary to begin at 10:30 am, June 22, 2023, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will follow the Rosary at 11:00 am. 

Pallbearers to serve will be Martin Mares, Richard Ross, Xavier Jones, Lorenzo Oñate, Dominic Oñate, Fabian Nejeres, Donovan Thomas, and Juan Oñate.
 
The Nejeres family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the funeral services.
