Tracy Coleman Obituary

We honor Tracy D. Coleman, 61, and remember the happiness she brought to us and the love we shared.

Tracy passed away on Saturday, November 18. Tracy was born in Olney, NM, to the late Donald Coleman and Glenda Coleman. Tracy loved animals. Her great nieces and nephews called her a "dogoligist" because you could ask her anything about a dog, and she had the answer to the question. Her favorite pastime was drawing.

Tracy was preceded by her father and mother; sisters, Glenda Becker and Lila Casper and her brothers, Larry Coleman and Danny Coleman. She is survived by her two brothers, Jack Shaffer and David Coleman; sisters, Stacy Kristinsson, Cindy Fender, and Geneva Tomlinson, and many nieces and nephews.

Tracy was a kind and generous soul. She loved her family and friends. Tracy always went above and beyond for her great-nieces and nephews. She would pick them up from school, help with school projects, or hang out with them while they did homework. Tracy always had the best jokes to go along with her fantastic storytelling. She always managed to find that stray pet who needed a loving home. Not a day went by that Tracy wasn't on the phone sharing the day's events with one (or all) of her sisters.

Tracy especially enjoyed the holidays - cooking meals and decorating the tree. This year and every year, as we decorate our tree, we'll think of her.

We say goodbye to our beloved family member and forever hold her in our hearts. Tracy will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

The Coleman family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home, Inc.
