Timothy Eric Kreeger passed away quietly at his residence in Alamogordo, NM on April 13,2021. He was born October 6, 1968 in Omaha, the son of Frank E. and Margaret C. (Breenden) Kreeger. He was Frank’s only child and Margaret’s fifth child. The family relocated to San Diego shortly after Tim’s birth. In 1989 Tim joined the Army National Guard to serve his country and married Melissa L. Bindert. They had two daughters, later divorced. In 1992 Tim relocated to Utah and was a member of the 19th Special Forces based out of Camp Williams until 1994. In 1997 he welcomed a son with Kimber Opfar. In 2003 he moved to Alamogordo, NM to be near his father.
Known to most of his friends as "Timmy”, he was a member was a member of several organizations. Those included VFW Post 7686, the Disabled American Vetarans and he was an 18-year member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 4101 where he served as a Worthy Chaplain. One of his proudest moments is when he stepped in as the Aerie Worthy President in 2017. He was also a Jr. Past Worthy President. In his 18 years of service to the Fraternal of Eagles Organization, Tim made many friendships and had a great camaraderie with those he encountered and met along the way at 4101 and throughout the State of New Mexico.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Gentry and sisters, Kathy Wesolowski and Judy Stacy. He is survived by daughters, Kelli A. Kreeger and Kristina A. Kreeger; son, Blade E. Kreeger; sister, Patricia (Woody Hooten); his longtime friend and caretaker, Melanie Nye; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
