Thomas J. Curry, Jr.

MSGT (retired) Thomas J. Curry, Jr. passed away on July 19, 2023, after a short stay at a hospital in El Paso, TX.

Tom was born in Philadelphia, PA on October 22, 1937, to Sarah and Thomas Curry Sr. He joined the Air Force shortly after graduating high school and retired after serving 24 years. Tom met his wife, Vicki, while stationed in Tucson, AZ and they were together for 57 years. After retiring from the Air Force, Tom enjoyed working as a local disc jockey for KPSA radio playing his favorite country music. He spent his later retired years as a local Moose member and enjoyed activities such as shuffleboard and karaoke with friends.

Tom is survived by his son, Tom Curry III; daughters, Pam (Tim) Tyrrell and Lisa (Russ) Feldbusch; brother, Mike Curry; sister, Marygrace (Ted) Gilmore; grandchildren, Tim, Julie, Nick, and Ashleigh; great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Vicki; son, David; daughter, Sheila; and grandson, Kevin.

Tom will always be remembered for his good heart, his sense of humor about everything and never-ending optimism - he kept his positive outlook until the very end, and he will be greatly missed.
