Theresa Lee

Theresa Lee, a resident of Alamogordo, New Mexico, passed away on October 31, 2024, at the age of 90. Born on September 20, 1934, in Portales, New Mexico, she was the eldest of four children to Hulda Armstrong Guyton and Joseph C. Guyton.

Theresa's life was marked by her love for collecting antiques and her deep affection for her dogs, passions that brought her joy throughout her years. In 1951, she married Alvy Lindsey, and together they embarked on a life enriched by the experiences of a military family, including several memorable tours in Germany. They were blessed with two children, Susan and Dale.

In 2002, Theresa found love again and married Robert (Bob) Lee. The couple made their home in La Luz, New Mexico, until Bob's passing in 2005. Theresa's life was filled with the love of her family, and she was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved daughter, Susan Hughes and son, Dale Lindsey; as well as her brothers, James and John Guyton. Theresa leaves behind her sister, Patricia Johnson (Ken); her granddaughters, Christina Lindsey Drauden (Peter) and Jessica Hughes (Ken Weeks). She is also survived by three cherished great grandchildren.

A memorial service to honor Theresa's life will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, November 25, 2024, at the Alamogordo Funeral Home. Interment will take place at the Fort Bliss National Cemetery at a later date. Theresa's legacy of love and warmth will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
