Teresa C Villavisencio

Teresa C Villavisencio, 91, passed away on August 29, 2022. She was born on August 7, 1931 in Downey, California to Cleofas and Maria Pinon-Calderon. She lived in Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico most of her young life through early adulthood, until she came to Alamogordo, NM. Teresa began working at the New Mexico School for the Blind and Visually Impaired in the 1960's. It was during this time that she met the love of her life. She later retired from Alamogordo Public Schools.

Survivors include her children, Jesus Roberto Calderon of Ruidoso, NM, Rogelio Arturo Calderon of El Paso, TX, Teresa Calderon Chavez of the Kenai Peninsula, AK, Alma Esperanza Ochoa of Las Cruces, NM, and Alberto Calderon Villavisencio of Albuquerque, NM.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Santiago A Villavisencio; daughter, Bertha R Baca; sons, Enrique (Henry) Calderon, Leopoldo (Leo) Calderon and Ramon Antonio (Tony) Calderon.

Services for Teresa Villavisencio will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. Holy Rosary will be recited at 10:30 am with Holy Mass to be Celebrated at 11:00 am with Father Martin Cornejo, Celebrant.

Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Jesus Roberto Calderon, Rogelio Arturo Calderon, Alberto Calderon Villavisencio, Ricardo (Ricky) Baca, Tomas (Tommy) Baca, and Gabriel (Gabe) Baca.

The Villavisencio family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the funeral services.
