Later he decided school might not be for him and went to work with the Civil Service as a jet engine mechanic in San Antonio, TX. He later came home and went to work for Sears and also worked at Samons where he officially retired. Sid’s passion was for classic cars, loved everything cars. He bought a beat up 1966 Nova Super Sport, with the intent to restore it, and it did get restored. He also enjoyed fixing things no matter how small or large the project was.
