Sandra Burrell-Inge Obituary

Sandra Burrell-Inge of Alamorosa, NM, went to heaven, May 28, 2023.

She was born in Detroit, MI, August 2, 1943. Sandra graduated from Lincoln Park High School and was ordained as a minister with the Brothers of Christ International.  Sandra was married first to Morris Don Burrell (1964-2005) and later to Willie Inge (2012-2023).

Sandy lived her dream, ministering to those around her and saw every experience as an opportunity to witness. When asked how she was doing, Sandy always responded, “Blessed.”  She was an avid reader, enjoyed crafts, puzzles, butterflies and games…especially card games.  Of the many jobs Sandy worked, she really enjoyed cooking and cleaning at the Sacramento Methodist Assembly, a church camp.  Sandy was a Walk to Emmaus board member and a state officer with Aglow.  Also, for many years, Sandy served the community in Weed and Sacramento as a first responder and as a volunteer at the fire department.

She was survived by her son, John; daughter and son-in-law, Serena and Vance with their children; through Willie Inge she gained bonus children with son David’s children, grandchildren and great grandchild; daughter Dori and Rick with her children and grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm, June 10, 2023, at New Heart Cowboy Church in Alamogordo.

“Have a blessed day,” Sandra’s wish to all.
