Sahdala Ellinger

Sahdala Ellinger, age 42, peacefully went to be with the Lord on November 7, 2024. Sahdala was born on July 28, 1982, to Yolanda Ortiz and Shafic Ahmed Sr. in Houston, Texas. 

Survivors include his two kids, Desiree and Nicolas Ellinger of Alamogordo, New Mexico; his adoptive parents, Jody and Darla Ellinger of Tularosa, New Mexico; his birth parents, Shafic Ahmed Sr. of Freetown, Sierra Leone and Yolonda Ortiz Richmond of Texas; his brothers, Shafic Ahmed III of, Alamogordo New Mexico, Jamil Ellinger of Tularosa, New Mexico, Elliott Ellinger of Tularosa, New Mexico, Matt Ellinger of Tularosa, New Mexico; his sisters, Mariam Ellinger-Baker (Curt) of St. Louis, Missouri, Shelly Douglas (Chris) of Payallup, Washington, Angela Ellinger (Brandee) of Sherman, Texas , Shaylnn Ellinger of Tularosa, New Mexico, Favia Weaver (Rocky) of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, Ashley Ellinger of Tularosa, New Mexico; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Sahdala was preceded in death by his two brothers, Stevan Ellinger and Shafic Ahmed Jr. and his grandbaby. 

The Ellinger family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home.
