Rosylene Belen Sanchez

Rosylene Belen Sanchez, 74, of Albuquerque passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024. She was born on July 17, 1950, in Carrizozo, New Mexico to Ramoncita (Gurule) and Abraham Sanchez. Rosylene was a graduate of Carrizozo High School and a TVI programming graduate. She worked as a Senior Systems Analyst for Albuquerque Public Schools for 27 years. 

During her retirement she enjoyed traveling, being with her family, and participating in weekly activities at Los Volcanes Senior Center. Rosylene was smart, level-headed, kind, compassionate, considerate, and had a humorous streak that made those around her smile. Her delightful personality never went unnoticed, and she will be greatly missed. She loved her Cadillac and as her license plate declared, Rosylene is “La Unica”.

Rosylene is survived by her son, Isaac; daughter-in-law, Vanessa; and granddaughter, Isabel. Rosylene was one of 12 siblings and is also survived by her sisters, Polly Chavez (Nat) of Carrizozo and Rita Roybal (Ron) of Alto; brothers, George Sanchez of El Paso and James Sanchez of El Paso, along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and eight of her siblings. 

Per Rosylene’s wishes, no services will be held.
