Rosemary Knisley

Rosemary J.  Knisley passed away at home September 26, 2020, surrounded by her children.

Rosemary was born in Stanton, Nebraska, and met and married the love of her life in Portland, Oregon. During her lifetime she was able to travel to many locations around the world including Germany and Hawaii. Rosemary and Bob came to Alamogordo in 1972 via Holloman Air Force Base, and they grew to love their adopted home.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of sixty-four years, Robert G. “Bob” Knisley.  Rosemary is survived by her children, Robin Anderson (Gary) of Alamogordo, Tedd Knisley (LeeAnne) of Richardson, Texas and Cheryl Sale (Mike) of Alamogordo; her grandchildren, Alana Sale of Alamogordo, Jenifer Gravley (Alex) of Tulsa, Brandon Anderson (Wendy) of Las Cruces, Christopher Knisley of Richardson, Texas, and Taylor Knisley of Dallas; and her great-grandchildren, Andrew and Addison Gravley (Jenifer) of Tulsa, and Jonathan, Jason and Emily Anderson (Brandon) of Las Cruces.

The family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the arrangements. 

A private family service will be held at a later date.
