Rose Moreno

Rose Moreno, 70, passed away on September 17, 2020 at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Alamogordo, NM on September 30, 1949 to Ernesto and Julia (Telles) Granados. 

Rose worked for Alamogordo Public Schools Food Service for many years where she had many wonderful friends. She enjoyed camping, family cookouts and get togethers. She was known for making the best potato salad and homemade rolls Rose also really enjoyed collecting rocks. She was such a beautiful, giving and caring person. Her family meant everything to her and she was always there for all of us. She will be deeply missed and forever in our thoughts and in our hearts.

Rose is survived by two sisters, Ramona (Raymond) Rodriguez of Fort Worth, TX and Roberta (Manuel) Vigil of Dale City, VA; three sons, Dave (Holly), Jaime (Monica), Gilbert (Briana) and daughter, Irene all of Alamogordo. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins (she was like a sister to), aunts, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eulogio (Joe); and son, Joseph.

A graveside service for Rose Moreno will be held at 11:00 am, Friday October 16, 2020 at Fairview Cemetery in Tularosa, NM with a potluck lunch to follow.

The Moreno family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home.
