Robin C. Perry

Robin C. Perry, 84, passed away on June 6, 2025, in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Robin was born in Middletown, Ohio to Eva and Robert Clements on November 5, 1940, she was the youngest of 4 girls and had 5 brothers.

Robin was a member of the Glee Club, the Middiettes and Mixed Chorus while in high school. She later moved to NJ where she met and married Calyue Perry in 1960. From this union, Robin was a fantastic mom to 6 children, Calyue, Allan, Dawn, Veronique, Ariel, and Clintonn. 

Robin was an accomplished organist and pianist; she loved to play and sing gospel music. She formalized a female quartet group, “The Gospelettes”, and The Freewill Gospel Singers. For several years, she was the organist for the Celestial Choir at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in Newark, NJ. 

Robin earned her Degree in Nursing at Essex County College and began her nursing career at Columbus Hospital in Newark, NJ. Upon retiring from nursing, she moved to Alamogordo, New Mexico where she lived a very full and independent life. 

Robin leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Calyue III, Allan, Veronique (Jeffrey), and Clintonn; two daughters that preceded her in death, Dawn and Ariel; her grandchildren, DaVette, (predeceased-Michael), Allan, Irene, Jeffrey Jr., “Tootie” (Latoya), Shandrea, Andrew, Chavonne “lil momma”, Georgiana, and Bianca; great grandchildren, Da'Mya, Ka'Maya, Logan, and Terri; a host of nieces and nephews; dear friends, Ms. Geri and Ms. Shanna.

The Perry family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home.
