Roberto "Bobby" L. Norris

Roberto L. Norris of Alamogordo went peacefully to be with our Lord and loved ones on Saturday, September 14, 2024. Bobby was born on September 9, 1951, in Alamogordo, NM to John and Mary Norris.

Bobby’s life consisted of being a jack of all trades and a master of fun. He enjoyed traveling, ice fishing and was always the life of the party. Bobby also enjoyed watching and playing football, and rooting for the 49ers. The thing he loved most of all though, was spending time with his family and friends. Bobby loved playing dominoes and cards. He had a smile that would light up a room and an attitude you couldn’t help but giggle at. 

Bobby is survived by his brothers, Eddie Dominguez, John C. Norris, Tony Norris, Joseph (Joe) Norris; sisters, Jean Hafley, Shirley Norris-Dixon and husband Dwayne; sister-in-law, Dianna Norris of Alamogordo; his adopted family: Juan Rodriguez and wife Dawn and their children; Jimmy John and wife Frances; Robert Ortega and wife Stephanie; Willie Ortega; Tony Herrera. Bobby also had many nephews, nieces and godchildren.

Bobby is preceded in death by his grandmother, Ermelinda Dominguez; parents, John and Mary Norris; sisters, Mary Trigg, Rosie Scott, Linda Norris, Yvonne Patterson, Mary Magdalene; brothers, Raymond Dominguez, Jimmy Dominguez, John Earl “Butch” Norris, David Norris; nieces, Autumn Norris and Grey Dixon; great nephew, Jacob Norris.

The Memorial Service for Bobby will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, October 14, 2024, at Mountain View Church.

The Norris family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home.
