Robert “Bobby” Mason Palmer, age 50, passed away on April 27, 2026. Bobby was born on July 17, 1975, to Rod Mason and Pamela Sue (King) Palmer. He was raised in Layton, Utah where he attended school and was surrounded by his large and loving family.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Rod Mason and Pamela Sue (King) Palmer, and his brother, Alan Palmer, along with extended family members including grandparents, aunts, and uncles.

Bobby is survived by his siblings, Cathy Riderknecht, Bret Palmer, Holly Kester, Brandi Medina, Jaime (Troy) Archuleta, JaNae (Justin) Brooks, Kashae (Whitney) Dickamore. He was a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews, who knew him as “Uncle Bob.”

Bobby was a proud father to Jessica (Jake) Hinds, Mason Robert Palmer (fiancée Breanne Hernandez), Brooke Bailey Palmer (fiancé Rennie Young), Promise Sue Palmer, Shooter Woods Palmer, and Waylon Cash Palmer. He was also a loving grandfather to Shavelle, Westen, Easten Hinds, and Tate Young.

Bobby shared over a decade of love and companionship with his significant other, Allison Ritter, who stood by his side through everything, including his final moments. He also shared three children and a meaningful part of his life with April Woolsey.

Bobby was known as a free spirit who lived life on his own terms. He spent several years driving diesel trucks and had a passion for playing the guitar, riding horses, and riding his motorcycle. He was a wild soul, a fighter, and someone who always showed up for others, never hesitating to help or take care of those around him.

Bobby was deeply loved by many and left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
