Richard Charles Brydon

Richard Charles Brydon, age 72, of Alamogordo, NM passed away in Alamogordo, NM on December 30, 2025. He was raised in Rutherford NJ and graduated from Rutherford High School. Richard was employed by the Bell Telephone Company from 1972 and then by AT&T until he retired. He relocated to New Mexico in 1979, lived in Farmington, Santa Fe, and finally settled in Alamogordo. 

Surviving Richard is his beloved partner of 30 years, Robin Gepner of Alamogordo; his sister, Susan Brydon of New Jersey and Tennessee; his two nephews, William Brydon Golz of Mahwah, NJ and Michael Williams Golz of Rutherford, NJ. He was predeceased by his wife, Lyn Brown Smith in 1998.

The Brydon family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home.
