Ravenna "Jeanette" Porter

Ravenna "Jeanette" Porter, 85, of Alamogordo, NM, previously of Midland, TX, passed on to her reward on June 15, 2024, after a 3-month illness.

Jeanette was born in Carlsbad, NM on June 7, 1939, to Fredward Drue Weatherford and Minnie Lee Baker Weatherford.

Jeanette is predeceased by her parents, her husbands, and her brother, Fredward Wayne Weatherford.

She is survived by her 3 children, Joletta Lee Fite (husband Lyn) of Alamogordo, NM, Earl Glenn Womack of Midland, TX, and James Leigh Womack (wife Traci) of Dayton, OH; 4 grandchildren, Becca Sotelo (husband Tony) of Amarillo, TX, Amber Robin of Midland, TX, Austin Womack and Jacie Womack of Dayton, OH; 2 bonus grandchildren, Tammy Porter of Midland, TX and Dwayne Fite of Sahuarita, AZ; 6 great grandchildren, Victoria Sotelo, Michael Sotelo, Preston Womack, Mackenzie, Mason and Ravyn Robin; 3 nephews, Terry, Kenny, and Jack Weatherford. 

Jeanette was a longtime active member of the Downtown Church of Christ in Midland and worshiped at the Cloudcroft Church of Christ after moving to Alamogordo in 2019.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, June 21, 2024, at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home in Midland, TX.

Graveside Service for Jeanette will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Ector County Cemetery in Odessa, TX.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Cloudcroft Church of Christ or a charity of your choice.
