Phillip Gray, 69, passed away on June 27, 2026. He was born in Hillsdale, MI.
Phillip served our country in the US Army for 6 years. Later, he moved to Alamogordo and started working at Presto Manufacturing, where he met and married his best friend and love, Monica. He stayed at Presto for 19 years until their doors closed. He also worked at Mesa Verde and Walmart, meeting lots of wonderful people along the way. Phillip poured his heart and life into Jesus and others. He dedicated his life to service and laughter.
Phillip is survived by his son, Matthew Gray (wife Amber), children, Matthew Jr., Ares, Albert; daughter, Kristina Gray, children Maria and Athena; daughter, Kable Sargent (husband Lucas), children, Dakota and Ayden; sisters, Sharon Sparks (husband Don), Connie Foster, Donna MacKay; sister-in-law, Debra Findley; brother-in-law, Mark Allen. Phillip had multiple nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. Lots of others called him Dad!
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Monica; sister, Shirley Iricks; brother, Raymond Babb; mother-in-law, Myrtis Allen; father-in-law, Marvin Allen; sister-in-law, Denise Allen; brother-in-law, Jim Findley.
A private funeral will be held.
