Pete G Garcia

Pete G. Garcia, 88, loving husband, father and grandfather was born on March 9, 1934, to Sisto and Teresa Garcia in La Luz, NM. Pete went to be with the Lord on Wednesday March 8, 2023, in El Paso, TX.  He proudly served our country in the US Army receiving several service accommodations. Pete retired civil service from Holloman AFB.  

Pete enjoyed watching or listening to the Alamogordo Tigers football games.  He also enjoyed watching his Dallas Cowboys play on the TV.  His favorite thing to do was walking around and tending to his orchard.

Pete is preceded in death by his parents, Sisto and Teresa Garcia of La Luz; brothers, Henry Garcia, Sisto Garcia, Joe Garcia, and Angel Garcia; sisters, Addie Salazar and Lala Gutierrez.  

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Virginia Garcia of 62 years; his daughters, Laura Tellez and Sara Bean (Tim); his three grandkids, Gabby Tellez, Alexa Bean and Sam Bean; sister Susie Padilla.

A Rosary will be held in his honor at 10:15 am, Friday, March 17, 2023, at St. Jude Parish Catholic Church. Memorial Mass will follow at 11:00 am with Military Honors.
