Minister Larry Bean was born on March 18, 1963 in Forrest City, Arkansas to the late David and Lorene Bean.
Larry joined the Military in April of 1987 and retired March of 2011. While serving in the Air Force, he met his beautiful wife Theresa while stationed at Grissom AFB, IN.
He met his love Theresa in 1991 and married her in February 1993.Together they have ten beautiful children, Rebecca, Amber, Andrew, Hope, Kesha, Larry Jr. Daija, Satori, Quinton, Samiah, and Lorene. Along their travels, they adopted Lisa, Kerrie, Tanisha, and many more. They spent 28 beautiful blessed years together filled with laughter, love and a wonderful host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Larry always had a love for the Lord, but it wasn't until April of 2005 when he was ordained into his calling as a Minister. He gave his first sermon at Holy Temple. Larry had a deep love for the Lord and throughout Alamogordo, sprinkled it on whomever he came into contact with. Two things that you would always see Larry with, his Bible and his sidekick Lorene. Whether picking her up from the school or taking her to the corner store for a slushy, Larry and Lorene were inseparable.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories, two sisters, Linda Powell and Kathryn Gray; six brothers, David, Jerod, Carl, Kevin, Willie, and Timothy; as well as his brothers through Christ, Pastor Mays, Minister Curry, Minister Zamora, and Deacon Smith.
Larry's only and last wish, was for everyone to seek and find comfort and love in God.
The Bean family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the arrangements.
