Michael is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Robin C. Atterton, whose partnership and love were the cornerstone of his life. He also leaves behind his children: Joshua Epperson of Lubbock, Texas, and Katlain Palmer with spouse Jordan Palmer of Tucson, Arizona. Michael’s love extended beyond his immediate family to his nieces and nephews, whom he adored deeply and who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

Above all, Michael will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and friend. His legacy lives on in the laughter around the grill, the quiet moments by the lake, and the bonds he helped forge through a life well-lived.
