Merle Barnhouse Obituary

Merle Barnhouse, 75, passed away in his home on August 5, 2020 with family by his side.

Merle was born January 7, 1945 in California. He graduated from Montibello High School. Merle had a degree in computer programming and photography and served 23 years in the US Navy.

He is pre-deceased by his wife, Maria; his father, Wilbur and his mother, Opal; as well as his brother, Marvin.

Merle is survived by his daughter, Maria Reed, and her husband, Ray of Indiana; his son, Jason Barnhouse and his wife, Michele of Alamogordo, NM; two step daughters, Nancy Wilmot, and husband, Andrew of Alamogordo, NM and Mari Wall of Arizona; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A memorial service with military honors will be held at a later date and will be announced.

In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in Merle's name to Christians for Israel or the American Eagle Foundation.
