Maryjane Hill

Maryjane Hill, revered as a pillar of strength, bravery, and unyielding love, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2024, surrounded by family. She was born on May 9, 1960, in Tularosa, New Mexico. Affectionately known by her grandchildren as "Mommy Jane" she leaves behind her husband, three daughters, nine grandchildren, and three great grandkids. Her greatest achievements were being a mother, grandmother, and wife. She was the center of our universe, the heart and soul of our family. 

Maryjane was a very smart and beautiful woman, working hard her entire life. She was the toughest person we knew. She was a factory worker, worked retail, finished beauty school, worked as an optical tech, at a medical office, had an Executive Secretarial Associates, was an Office Manager for an accounting firm, and worked at a bank in her lifetime. 

If you ever met Maryjane, she was always welcoming and had a beautiful smile on her face. Her legacy is one of unconditional love, support, and generosity for her family. Even when sick or in pain later in life, she never faltered in caring for her loved ones more than she did for herself. 

Maryjane will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Chris Hill; daughters, Sabrina Martin (Husband Duriel), Stephanie Reyes (Josh Sides) and Kristina Bartlett (Husband Noah); brothers Mickey, Juan, Chris, and Donnie; sisters, Mali and Patty; and all her grandchildren and great grandkids. She is joined in rest by her mother and father, Juan and Maria Garcia; siblings, Cecelia, Maria, Bobby, Ramona, and Lica. 

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Maryjane will take place at 11:00 am, Monday, December 9, 2024, at the Alamogordo Funeral Home, in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Cremation and interment with her mother will take place at a later date.

The Hill family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the services.
