Mary Munoz Saucedo

Mary Munoz Saucedo, 87, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend passed away Saturday, June 17, 2023, in La Luz, NM. She was born on December 3, 1935, to Raymond B. Munoz and Maria Ramirez Munoz in La Luz.
 
Mary worked 25 years for Alamogordo Public Schools and 10 years for The New Mexico School for the Blind & Visually Impaired. In her spare time she loved gardening, crocheting, thrifting, and spending time with family. She spent several years as a volunteer for voter registration.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, M. R. Munoz and R. B. Munoz, and several siblings.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 66 years, John Baca Saucedo; daughter, Janet Saucedo-Messer; son-in-law, Grant Messer; grandchildren, Dan Pagliaro, Rosemary Pagliaro, Chase Messer, Kelsey Messer, Tres Messer, and Katie Bearden; great grandchildren, Kahlan Pagliaro, Ariana Pagliaro, and Emilie Messer; her brother, Gilbert Munoz, and his wife Gloria; and several nieces and nephews.
