Mary Alice (Casto) Rosprim

Mary Alice (Casto) Rosprim, 50, passed away on August 27th, 2021 after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Charleston, West Virginia to Otis and Virginia Casto and is the second youngest of seven children. She is survived by her husband, Timothy Rosprim; their son, Samuel (Eli); her siblings, David, Doris, James, Sandra, Richard, and Barbara; and many nieces and nephews.

Alice, as she preferred to be called, graduated from Stonewall Jackson High School with honors in 1989. After graduation, she joined the United States Marine Corps where she served as a calibration technician for aircraft for four years. While in the Marine Corps, she met her future husband, Timothy, and they married soon after her discharge. They were happily married for 28 years. Together, they moved to Wisconsin (where he is from) and where she attended Milwaukee Area Technical College receiving her Associate Degree in Graphic Design, and later attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point where she received her Bachelor Degree in Graphic Design. After school, they moved to Cincinnati, Ohio and then to Alamogordo, New Mexico. It was here in Alamogordo that their son was born. Her son meant everything to her; he was the reason she held on as long as she did.

Rosary service will be held at 10:15 am on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at St. Jude Catholic Church, 1404 College Ave, Alamogordo, New Mexico (575) 437-0238 with Mass to follow at 11:00 am. Any flowers, plants, or gifts should be sent to the church.

Burial of her cremated remains will follow at a later date in Eagle, Wisconsin.
