Mark Joseph Vega

Mark Joseph Vega, 60, passed away on July 25, 2024, in El Paso, Texas. He was born on September 14, 1963, in Carrizozo, New Mexico to Martin Vega and Theresa Smith. 

Mark served in the United States Air Force for 4 years. He enjoyed coaching little league football. Mark loved being surrounded by his family and friends enjoying that time most of all, and boy did he ever love those grand babies!

Survivors include his wife, Natalia; his daughter, Brittany; grandchildren, Michael, Elijah, Matthew Jr., Levi; mother-in-law, Lupe; sisters; brothers and sisters-in-law; uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Theresa and Tillman Smith, and Martin Vega; son, Matthew Jordan Vega.

The family will greet friends from 9:30 am to 10:00 am on Friday, August 9, 2024, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Rosary for Mark Vega will be recited at 10:00 am, Friday, August 9, 2024, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am, Friday, August 9, 2024, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Burial will follow services at Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery.

The Vega family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the funeral services.
