Margie O. Peinado

Margie O. Peinado, 66, of Alamogordo, NM passed away in the early hours of November 1, 2023, at her home. Margie was born in Carrizozo, NM on January 12, 1957, to Dolores Montano and Patricio Otero. 

Everybody who knew Margie loved her. She welcomed everybody with open arms and a smile on her face. Margie was outspoken and made sure you knew exactly how she was feeling about any situation, topic, or conversation. She was always laughing while making everybody else around her laugh. She always had the biggest smile on her face that would shine throughout the whole room.  She was a great mom, grandma, great grandma, sister, aunt, and friend.

Margie is survived by her son, James D. Otero of Alamogordo, NM; husband, Miguel Peinado of Juarez; granddaughters, Adaliah (James) Lawrence, Precious (Josiah) Haynes, and Kylie Hyland all of Alamogordo, NM; great grandchildren, Aaliyah Snyder, Avaiyah McClendon, Ky’iere Lawrence, Hezekiah Haynes, and Kylee Lawrence all of Alamogordo, NM; sisters, Cecelia Lucero and Stella (Eddie) Brusuelas both of Tularosa, NM; brother, Pat Otero of Tularosa, NM. 

She is proceeded in death by her parents, Dolores and Pat Otero; brother, Steven Otero; sister, Rosario Aragon; daughter, Mary Frances Harrison; son-in-law, Billy Heath Harrison; grandson, Billy Ryan Harrison.

The Memorial Service for Margarita Peinado will be held at 3:00 pm, Friday, November 17, 2023, at Alamogordo Funeral Home.

The Peinado family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the services.
