Manuelita Padilla

Manuelita Padilla, 92, of Alamogordo, NM has gone to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 8, 2026. 

Manuelita was preceded in death by her parents, Julianita and Jose Portio; husband, Rufino Padilla; son, Jerry Padilla; daughter, Ida Padilla Moore; grandson, Nick Padilla; brothers, Aron and Richard Portio.

She is survived by her son, Albert Padilla; daughter, Margie Melendrez; grandsons, Ryan Melendrez and Steven Moore; granddaughter, Diana Padilla; many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Manuelita was loved by so many. She had a kind, caring, and loving soul. She will be missed but Heaven is sweeter with her there.

Funeral services for Manuelita Padilla will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Rosary will be recited at 10:00 am with Mass celebrated at 10:30 am with Father Martin Cornejo, Celebrant.

Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery.

The Padilla family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the funeral services.
