Lucy Jorgensen

Lucy Jorgensen, 67, passed away on August 29, 2025, in Tularosa, New Mexico. She was born on December 6, 1957, in Tularosa, New Mexico to Luis and Consuelo (Duran) Carrillo.

Survivors include her husband, Scott Jorgensen; two nieces, Nicole (Malcom) Ammon of Jacksonville, NC, Leslie (Andrew) Otero of Rio Rancho, NM; brother, Bennie (Linda) Carrillo of Tularosa, NM; three sisters, Margaret Jaramillo of Alamogordo, NM, Ravin Carrillo of Tularosa, NM, Sophie (Tom ) Slipworth.  

She was preceded in death by her mother, Consuelo Carrillo and her father, Luis Carrillo. 

Rosary for Lucy Jorgensen will be recited at 10:00 am, Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church with Mass celebrated at 10:30 am with Father Patrick Montgomery, Celebrant.

Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.

The Jorgensen family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the funeral services.
