Louis Albert Chavez

Louis (Louie) Albert Chavez Jr., 68, passed away on November 8, 2021 in El Paso, TX. Louie was born January 21, 1953 in Tularosa, NM.

He was preceded in death by his father, Louis C. Chavez; mother, Leonila L. Chavez; brother, Carlos Chavez; and sister, Epimenia Gallegos.

He is survived by his wife, Ramona Lewis; brothers, Ted Chavez, Anthony Chavez, Joe Chavez, Johnny Chavez; sisters, Joann and husband Jimmy Lopez, Frances Chavez; 3 sons, Louis Chavez II, Louis A. Chavez, Alfred Lewis; and daughter, Grace Lewis Nagamine; and one very special great-granddaughter Melanie Mona Ridley.

Louie’s passions were fishing, hunting and camping. His strength and kindness were apparent to all he met. He was loved by many. Louie never met a stranger he didn’t like and that didn’t like him.

Everyone is cordially invited to attend a memorial service on November, 20th at 1:00 pm at Mountain View Church, 1300 Cuba Ave. Reception immediately following.
