Lelain I Vann, 76, passed away on November 11, 2021 in Alamogordo, New Mexico. He was born on August 6, 1945 in Port Orchard, Washington to Eldon and Lucille (McBroom) Vann.
Lelain retired from the New Mexico School for the Blind and Visually Impaired. He enjoyed hunting and camping with the family, and traveling with Judy. He also enjoyed working with cars and racing autos.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Vann; his daughter, Tracy Northern; brother, Carroll Vann and wife Toni; sister, Ruby Millhouse; uncles, Eulas Vann and Vennis Vann; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eldon Ruffus Vann; mother, Lucille Vann; sister, Barbara Worley; brothers, Nolan Vann and Melton Vann.
A memorial service for Lelain Vann will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at the Alamogordo Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Steve Fambrough officiating.
Burial will take place at Monte Vista Cemetery at a later date.
