Laura Lee was born on Nov. 7, 1936 in Alamogordo, NM. She was raised on the Flying H ranch where she and her sister would say they "got" to ride horseback to elementary school. Since there was no high school on the ranch, the girls went to high school and graduated in Artesia. Laura Lee settled in Alamogordo in 1964. She had her own babysitting service for several years and loved each child as if they were her own. When those children grew old enough to no longer need babysitting, she went to work at Gerald Champion Hospital where she worked for almost 40 years. Laura Lee made many, many friends and precious memories. She loved to garden, dance, laugh, bake, and take care of people. She loved her family and friends and she will missed by all who knew her.
Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, October 9th at Monte Vista Cemetery.
