Larry Kinkle Obituary

Larry Kinkle passed away on March 8, 2021. He was born on April 13,1942 in Capac, MI at the home of John and Susan Neumayer to Leland and Frances (Neumayer) Kinkle. Larry was raised in Imlay City, MI. He graduated from Imlay City High School in 1960. His childhood was filled with playing with his cousins and being a older brother to Lee and John. 

Larry enlisted in the US Air Force after spending time in the Civil Air Patrol.  He was stationed at Minot AFB, ND where he met MarJo Jennings in 1963. Their November 29th wedding was almost canceled because the country lost President Kennedy the week before. They married and a year later daughter Susan was born. The couple later divorced after Larry returned from Viet Nam.

Larry met Blacita "B" Gonzales and the couple married in 1972. Blacita came with two children Marcus and Melody. Larry and "B" welcomed the birth of a son Michael in November 1973. Larry retired from the USAF as a Senior Master Sergeant after nearly 28 years of service. Larry and Blacita were married 48 years. She passed away on Christmas Eve of 2020 at the age of 79. She was the love of his life.

Survivors include his son, Michael (Amber) of Alamogordo, NM and daughter, Susan of New Braunfels, TX; one grandson, Michael of Austin, TX; stepson, Marcus (Pam) of Midwest City, OK; step grandson, Marcus Jr. of NM; brothers, Lee (Fran) of Fostoria,  MI and John of Houston,  TX.  

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and stepdaughter Melody. 

The Kinkle family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home.
