Laniya Monique Harper was born on July 16, 1997, in El Paso, TX to Richard and Demetria Harper. In 2008 when her parents passed away, she moved to Alamogordo, NM with her siblings where they were raised by her grandparents, Bobbiette and Tommie Williams. Laniya attended school and graduated in December of 2016 from Academy Del Sol. She became a member of Corinth Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and also served on the usher board.
