Judith Kay (Ashton) Chesser 77, passed away on January 21, 2021 in Timberon, New Mexico. She was born on May 26th, 1943 in Salina, Kansas to Barney and Elanor (Beagel) Modig.
Survivors include her husband, David Chesser; her five kids, Roger Standley, Robert Fellman, Reva Cole, Rebecca Little, Rhonda Schaefer; her two brothers, Joe Modig and Jim Modig.
She was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Standley; mother, Elanor Modig; father, Barney Modig; mother-in-law, Loralie Chesser; daughter-in-law, Connie Standley.
A graveside for Judith Chesser will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Timberon Cemetery.
Pallbearers include her two sons, Roger Standley and Robert Fellman; friend, James Ross; son-in-law, Kevin Schaefer; nephew, Lee Haines; long-time friend, Jason Hamill.
The Chesser family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the services.
