Joseph A Ortega Sr.

Joseph A Ortega Sr., 60, was called home by our Heavenly Father on October 31, 2020. Joseph was born on April 7, 1960 in Tularosa, NM to Frank D and Mary V Ortega. 

Joseph was a loving father, grandfather, brother, son, uncle, and friend. His children and granddaughter were the light of his life. He had a successful career in janitorial and retail. He was religious and believed in our Lord and Savior. He would always tell everyone one day at a time. He never took life for granted. 

Survivors include his son, Joseph Ortega Jr. of Alamogordo and daughter, Rachel Ortega of Alamogordo; granddaughter, Aimee Wisehart of Alamogordo; niece, Sarah Dyer of Alamogordo; nephew, Michael Dyer of Alamogordo; Tim Wisehart of Alamogordo; numerous brothers, sisters, family, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Frank Ortega; mother, Mary Castro Ortega; and brother, Juan Ortega.

The Ortega family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home.
