Josefina Reyes Brusuelas

Josefina Reyes Brusuelas passed away on June 29, 2021 at the age of 66. She was born on July 18, 1954 to Jose Cruz and Augustina Reyes in Juarez, Mexico. She became Naturalized in 1977 at which time she fell in love and married Pedro (Pete) Brusuelas.

Josefina worked twenty plus years at the Presto Manufacturing Company. After the factory closed down, she earned her Associates Degree at NMSU-Alamogordo. She worked at the (ABE) Adult Basic Education until her retirement in 2018.

Josefina is survived by her husband, Pedro Brusuelas; son, Pedro "PJ" Brusuelas; daughter, Amanda Brusuelas; grandchildren, Damian Brusuelas, Felix Brusuelas, Nina Brusuelas, Jose Brusuelas; and sister, Christina Reyes.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents and her sister, Martha Venegas.

The Brusuelas family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home.
