Jonathan Levi Jennings, born on March 19, 1996, passed away on September 4,2023. A beloved son, brother, and grandson, Jonathan's life was marked by his dedication to learning and service. 

Jonathan was a student of Karate at Complete Martial Arts. His passion for martial arts was a testament to his discipline and commitment. He also pursued his high school studies online with Stratford, demonstrating his love for independent learning. His thirst for knowledge led him to receive certificates in numerous subjects from Alison. He also enjoyed reading books on the subject of Spirituality. 

Beyond his academic pursuits, Jonathan was known for his generous spirit. He volunteered at the Alamogordo Senior Center for several years, touching the lives of many with his kindness and compassion. Jonathan's creativity shone brightly in his love for writing and storytelling. His online videos and games were a testament to his imaginative spirit. Above all, his willingness to help others showed the depth of his kindness and compassion. He is deeply missed by his friends and family. 

Jonathan is survived by his loving parents, Penny Jennings and Kevin Jennings and his brother, Zachary Jennings. His memory will also be cherished by his paternal grandparents, Jim and Denise Jennings of Alamogordo; maternal grandmother, Sharon Salazar of La Luz; Uncle David Christy and Aunt Lita Christy of Kansas; James and Sheri Jennings of Utah; Kelly Jennings and Trish Jennings of Alamogordo; Ted and Jennifer Jennings of Idaho; Aunt Candice Jennings of Albuquerque; cousins: Sapphire Jennings, Abagail Christy, Bryan Jennings, Lucas Jennings, Leslie and Chandler Lara, Emery Lara, Finn Lara, Travis Jennings, Tyler Robinson, Michael Robinson. 

Jonathan's life was a testament to the power of dedication and service. His memory will continue to inspire all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
 
Jonathan's ashes will be interred at Monte Vista Cemetery in Alamogordo on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 2:30 pm. This will be a time for those who knew and loved him to come together, to share memories, and to celebrate his life. 

The Jennings family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home.
