John Taylor

John Taylor born in Hope, Arkansas on June 30, 1947, and passed away quietly in his sleep on July 18, 2025.

He is survived by siblings, Patricia and Robert Taylor; brother-in-law, Franklin Cathcart; nieces, Josephine Cathcart and Amber Taylor; and nephews, Jeffrey Cathcart, Warren Taylor, Adam Taylor and Scott Taylor.

John was a retired fireman/inspector from Holloman AFB who loved his work and has many fond memories of his career.  Other highlights of John's life include being a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers and a Doberman enthusiast though he never did own one.  He loved meeting friends for coffee, meals and social gatherings.  John was a kind, generous person with quick humor who was deeply loved by his family and will be greatly missed by all.

The family will greet friends Wednesday, July 30, 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Alamogordo Funeral Home chapel.

The Taylor family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home, Inc. to direct the funeral services.
