Jens Gorn

Jens Gorn, born January 15, 1931, left this earth peacefully to join our Heavenly Father on Monday, June 8, 2020.

Jens was preceded in death by his loving wife, Jean and stepson, Russell Baker. He leaves behind a son, Roger Gorn of Council Bluffs, IA; stepsons, Roger Baker and wife Debbie of Alamogordo and Richard Baker and wife Sandy of Wyoming; numerous grand children and great grandchildren.

Jens loved his friends at the senior center and playing bingo. He also loved spending time watching and feeding hummingbirds. He will be missed.

The family will greet friends from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Friday, June 12, 2020 at Alamogordo Funeral Home.

The funeral service for Jens Gorn will be held at 3:00 pm, Friday, June 12, 2020 at Alamogordo Funeral Home with Pastor Tyler Grace officiating.

Burial will follow at Monte Vista Cemetery.

The Gorn family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the funeral services.
