Jacob Gutierrez

Jacob Gutierrez, 26, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on June 20, 2023. Jacob was born on July 19, 1996, in Alamogordo, NM to Rebecca and Joseph Gutierrez. 

Jacob had a love for hunting and looking at himself in the mirror. As his close loved ones would say, he was so conceited. Jacob took pride in all he did but one thing that he was most proud of, was being a dad to his beautiful baby girl, Aulani Rose. Jacob had a love like no other. He was a giver and that showed through his actions. 

Jacob is survived by his mother and father; his sisters, Andriana and her husband Michael, Teresa and her husband Gabriel; his grandparents, Lucy and Pete Borunda, Ruthie Overton; a very special niece, Ameara, who looked to Jacob as her dad (tata); a special Tia and Tio, Tricia and Ricardo, all of Alamogordo. Jacob is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and a very special person that he shares his daughter with, China Ramirez, whom he loved very much. 

Pallbearers are Silas, Jamal, Bj, Zach, Craig, Issac, Mikael, and little Jay.  

Honorary pallbearers include Angela, Kayla, Damarcus, Alexandra, Andrew, Michael, Gabriel, Sarah, Bubba, Vanity, his god sister Jaime, and all of Jacob's nieces and nephews. 

A balloon release will take place at 6:30 pm, on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at Washington Park. 

Services will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at The Worship Center, 1100 N Florida.

The Gutierrez family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home.
