Isaac Paul Duran

Isaac Paul Duran, age 33, passed away on April 14, 2018. Born on March 12, 1985, Isaac grew up in Tularosa and Española, New Mexico. 

A student at Tularosa High School, Isaac later worked at Inn of the Mountain Gods. He was known for his big heart, unwavering loyalty, and the strong bonds he shared with both family and friends. Isaac’s presence was always known, his laugh unforgettable, and his love for those around him undeniable.

He is survived by his beloved daughters, Julieanne Elaine Duran, Zoey Angel Heaven Duran, Danielle Marie Duran; his brother, Jonathan Salazar; sister, Marie Salazar; cousins, Richard Duran and Monique Duran; grandparents, Josephine and Joe Duran.

Isaac was preceded in death by his daughter, Jasmine Monique Duran; mother, Julie Jaramillo; father, Joey Duran; grandparents, Joe Jaramillo and Frances Benavidez. 

Services will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church in Tularosa. Rosary will be recited at 10:00 am with Mass celebrated at 10:30 am. Dinner will follow services.

Pallbearers include Jonathan Salazar, Marie Salazar, Malin Yahnahki, Brian Duke, Joseph Jaramillo, and Frankie Gonzales.

Honorary Pallbearers are Brian Catt, Richard Duran, and Monique Duran.

Isaac will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.

The Duran family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home.
