Henry Elliott, 50, beloved brother, uncle, friend, and fur Dad to Sassy, passed away on April 11, 2022 in Alamogordo, NM. He was born April 11, 1972 to Monty and Ernestine Elliott in Grants, NM. Henry graduated from Tularosa High School in 1993. He enjoyed antiquing, flipping furniture and working on cars and other goods that caught his attention. He, along with family and friends, ran the Red Door Mini Mall in Alamogordo for six years and just like his Dad, he never met a stranger. Henry absolutely loved his nieces and he enjoyed taking them on little adventures like 4 wheeling, a day of swimming and “hunting for gold” around the mountains. He held great Halloween parties and was a wonderful cook where he would serve his “famous” brisket and beans.
Henry is survived by his two sisters, Nena and husband Danny Carrillo; Tina Elliott and her daughter, Andrea Elliott; two other close nieces, Alexandra Elliott and Krista Elliott; and numerous nieces, nephews and longtime friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Laura, Uncle Kenneth, Aunt Darlene, Uncle Lorenzo, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
At this time the family has chosen cremation. A Memorial Celebration of Life/reception will be held at a later date in Alamogordo for family and longtime friends.
The Elliott family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home.
