Guillermo "Billy" Romon Gonzales

Guillermo "Billy" Romon Gonzales, 74, passed away on February 25, 2021 in La Luz, New Mexico. He was born and raised in Alamogordo, NM on August 31, 1946 to Pedro G Gonzales and Bennie Stogden. He met his wife Irene Brusenhan in May of 1968 when he returned from Vietnam and they eventually married on June 27, 1970. Together they had four beautiful children; Guillermo "Billy", Anthony, David, and Linda, along with Victoria and Nicole whom he loved dearly. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great grandson. Billy worked 17 years for the city of Alamogordo in the street department. He then delivered the Alamogordo Daily News for 11 years in La Luz. Everyone in La Luz knew him as Mr. G.

Billy was baptized as one of Jehovah Witnesses on January 3, 1980. He genuinely believed in Jehovah's promise recorded in John 5:28, 29. He was a man who was loved by many people. He never knew a stranger and wanted to share his love for Jehovah with everyone he met. Billy had deep faith in the promise that Jehovah gave us in the resurrection and looked forward to waking up with no pain, no sickness and a better life. These are the things that Jehovah had promised and Billy had faith.

Billy is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, great grandson, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, and his large spiritual family.
