Gonzalo M. Torres

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather, Gonzalo M. Torres Sr., who passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, December 29, 2025, at the age of 92.

Gonzalo is survived by his daughter, Ramona T. Lewis; son, Gonzalo G. Torres Jr.; son-in-law, Jesse Loewen; grandchildren, Michelle Foltz, Jesse N. Loewen Jr., Grace L. Nagamine, Alfred R. Lewis, Louis Chavez Jr.; great grandchildren, Adam Foltz, Sierra Loewen, Monet Loewen, Nadia Loewen, Denton Loewen, Anthony Cochran, Ariel Cochran, Logan Shaw, Romello Tave, Nalu Nagamine, Koa Nagamine, Bella Lewis; very special great-great grandchildren, Melaine Mona Ridley, Valencio Loewen, Syair Loewen; very special niece, Diane T. Lopez.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ramona G. Torres; daughter, Gloria T. Loewen; great grandson, Jason Ray Montoya-Foltz, son-in-law, Louis A. Chavez Sr.

Services for Gonzalo M. Torres will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 9:30 am to 10:00 am. Rosary will be recited at 10:00 am with Mass Celebrated at 10:30 am.

Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery.

The Torres family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the funeral services.
