Geneva Lucille Howe

Geneva Lucille Howe, 77, passed away on February 7, 2026, in Alamogordo, New Mexico. She was born on November 1, 1948, in Salinas, California to Earl Edward and Vada Geneva (Thompson) Rood. 

Survivors include her two sons, Glen  Mooney of Alamogordo, NM and Michael Gene Howe of Alamogordo, NM; daughter, Charline Lisa Howe of Riverbank, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Vada Rood; her daughter, Kathy Lynn Mooney. 

Services for Geneva will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at Alamogordo Funeral Home. Visitation will be held  at 1:00 pm with Funeral Service at 1:30 pm.

Burial will follow at Monte Vista Cemetery.

The Howe family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the funeral services.
