Frank Leroy Miller, 73, passed away on June 13, 2022 at his home surrounded by family after a brief battle with cancer. Frank was born in Silver City, NM to Claud and Hazel (Guinn) Miller.
After high school, Frank enlisted in the US Army and served in Vietnam. When he returned to the states, he started long distance trucking. He spent the next 50 years hauling freight across America. In his downtime, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, Nascar, football, and golf. He was always ready to spend time with family and friends.
Frank is survived by his wife and best friend, Bonnie Miller; his children, Kelly (Erica) Martin of Midwest City, OK, Michelle (Mark) Cropp of Fredericksburg, VA, Amy Kleran of Sparta, WI, and Robin Owens of Alamogordo; sisters, Claudette (Joel) Kennedy of Chama, NM and Diane (Barry) Stanabeck; grandchildren, Tiffani (Andrew) Groff, Jesse (Joy) Martin, Krystle Martin, Brandon Wickersham, Christopher Martin, Casey Cropp, Kevin Cropp, and James Cropp. In addition, Frank had 8 great grandchildren and a host of extended family and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Keith Martin.
A Celebration of Frank's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you remember Frank as the wonderful man that he was.
The Miller family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home and PCS to direct the arrangements.
